Doors unlock on a timer for the first 4 minutes of each passing period (policy setting), then relock. A credential on the roster for the current period opens the door at any time during the period.

Disable a lost badge and it is rejected at every door within seconds. Re‑issue keeps the person's permissions and retires the old card. Repeated denials auto‑disable a credential and alert the office.
